Prosthodontics is a specialized field in dentistry, and a Prosthodontist is a dentist who has undergone extensive training in this area. Recognized by both the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA), Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties. Accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) ensures that Prosthodontists meet national standards for education and practice.
